hey guys i took your advice and fed my royal a weener rat today very first one and i tried feedin her out of her viv in a RUB i only wiggled it once and bang she took it straight away. didnt think she was goona be able to eat it at first its amazin how stretchy there skin is. went down easy after the feet went past. im so chuffed now. she should put more weight on now shouldnt she plus im feeding her every 5 days now instead of 7.

I move mine to every 7 days when they get to 400g.

congrats on the feed

i too feed all my snakes every 7 days. 'Hope' my 06 is moving to 10-14 days soon (fingers crossed) as she took her first adult rat on sunday.

yep,that weight will be bumping on with feeding rats,i too only feed every 7 days.

so do u think i should only feed her every 7 days or wait till she weighs 400g approx then go to 7 days. thanks guys. do u think i should feed her outside the viv all the time now?

if you can feed out of the viv it does have it advantages,so carry on,do you know the weight of it now?

personly,i would feed every 7 days as your giving larger foods and it wont be long before it hitting the 400g mark,
