hey guys im really interested in learning loads about reptiles do u no of any courses u can do from home. have any of u guys done any courses or anything and do u think is worth doin thanks alot ryzi

i havent done any courses but im sure there is some available.just spend most my time reading up on the forums and websites.

found the best way of learning about a species is owning it, and learning by looking after it.

well thats my excuse for turning my flat in to a small petting zoo.

Local zoo? I know Marwell zoo have voluntary positions advertised quite a lot.

yeah i have just applied at my local zoo but the reptile enclosures are very small. im thinking of enrolling on a compass herpetology course sounds really good and do it all from home

I was kinda day dreaming about this the other day, but what do you get from it, like certificate wise, an NVQ?

im not sure really.i dont think its an NVQ as such ut i think reptile shops and other reptile places recognise it. its not just about a qualification for me i just wanna learn lots about all reptiles.
