Fed one of my new Royals the other day and she missed the mouse and hit me ouch!!!! here are a couple of pics


not her fault i should have waited til she was in a better position

sometimes i think sensing heat from a prey item AND actually seeing it confuses the hell out of them, their aim is so far off sometimes! (but not always!)

I think its just where she missed and her head carried on and hit my arm then she latched on to me

Am i right in saying that our first actual bite in progress picture and matty was just about to volenteer for it,as requested by kaz.

Ouch. lol. Perhaps it thinks it's a fully grown Retic .

Been tagged by my corn but not my royal (yet). You'll not get a lot of sympathy on here (as I discovered when my corn tagged me). It must be some kind of right of passage to becoming a true herpatologist .

There are a few of us on here that can offer counselling to help you recover from the trauma of the whole experience .
