I would just like to thank everyone that helped and gave advice on my first topic. I have spent a couple of days reading A LOT about this and have come to the decision that the snakes will be housed seperate.....for now. I do still plan to keep them together but only after being probed and allowed to mature and grow for maybe another year. It seems that my success rate would be increased if they were M/F rather than M/M, and although the stories i have read are shocking and a little scary the chances of cannabilism are slim providing i take neccessary precautions when feeding etc. Other problems imo can be minimised/avoided with good housekeeping and observation of the snakes behavior pattern. So over the next year i will keep up the introductions and allow them some time together in the new viv, under my watchfull eye. Thanks again Mark |
