does anyone know how you treat wild wood to make it safe to have in a viv?. I've heard you have to bake it, but im not sure.

You have to strip the bark ( i think) and then soak it in a bleach solution for 3 to 4 hours then bake it at a very low heat, i had a post asking the same on here but cant find it, the answer is there, if i find it i will post it on this bit for you;-)

As above, soak it in bleach (5 or 10%) and rinse thoroughly. Then dry in an oven or against a radiator.

If its small enough you could probably just put it straight in an oven without the bleach.

lol, if its not old dead wood try not to heat it up too much or soak it for too long, it will split or absorb the water like a sponge.
