Hi, well I managed to get my viv set up last night and tonight I will be collecting the snake. I am going to try to get some photos on here of my set up and then some of the new addition.

Hi Blackecho, I had to do a bit of research ref the heat mat. In the end I took the advice from the breeder. All things considered it seemed the safest option. The temps are good at both ends, so it all seems to be working well. Just hope she enjoys it :-) |

Great set up, it looks smashing, i would still have the heat mat on the floor or switch to ceramic heat..lol..good luck on getting your girl tonight, be careful out in the snow and ice |

I managed to get a cotton bag from South Coast Exotics today (free), should be after what I spent in there. I have also put some scrunched up newspaper in it.I will have the bag inside my fleece while I drive back, so she should be fine. Only half hour drive. |

I got one of those from them, does it say fauna imports UK or something similar on it? Think their source is next door to them (fauna imports). |

looks good mate...
was just thinking that mybe you dont need to use both the mat and the lamp, as the lamp should provide enough heat on its own.
