my female royal has always been a fussy eater but it is now 3 weeks since her last feed she is in the process of shedding any time soon - my male always ate weekly but has now gone two weeks they both tend to slither to the other end of their vivs a bloke in an exotic pet shop said its not uncommon around this time of year any suggestions anyone or should i just be patient |

I wouldn't worry too much, both of my two went for three weeks without feeding, then both fed together on the same night, must be something to do with the cold weather we've had recently. It's starting to warm up now though, so hopefully they'll start to eat soon. |

i'm up to about 7 weeks with out a feed. royals can go months without food so dont start panicing til he/she starts losing weight.
weigh every week and keep a record of the weight... |

warmer ambient temps, longer daylight hours................ they'll be thinking about girls/boys most likely! keep an eye on their weight to make sure they're not losing any. |

Loads of us in the same boat,mine went of food a few weeks back then tried himback on mice and he took it now hes gone off those,just stick with it and dont try too often,just that time of year. |
