Me and Lewy went snake hunting in Lincoln last summer. Found a grass snake hiding in the grass. Got a picture somewhere |

they had a massive operation underway in my area when they were making the m6 join the m74, they had to capture and move somewhere in the region of 1200 adders that were established in the scrublands next to the road. |

Back to the heat mats, i could not go the vent route so i cut the plug and rewired it, correctly i hope, blue goes left, brown goes right? well the mat does not work now, no lose wires as i checked it, does that mean i have knackered it and will have to go buy a new one? |

Its wired correct but you can actually wire it either way round as it's AC current. Check the fuse in the plug.
