well it sounds like you had a nice relaxing day Wolf.
My mum came down here to stay for the week and so took her out for a very nice meal yesterday at my local Pub/restaurant. All the mothers were even given a bunch of flowers and a box of chocolates which was nice.
You see some of us men can remember :-)

Yes, it is nice to be able to take time out and really relax.
I am lucky where I am living now as there is a small Copse on my doorstep and woods over the road, so lots to see and listen to.

i'd like a farm, in the middle of nowhere. in fact, if i won the lottery i would buy a bit of land as far from any human as i possibly could and build a self sufficient farm, grow my own food, have solar panels, keep my own animals like chickens, cows etc. i have it all planned out, right dowm to the smallest detail lol. sad that the only way i could do it is to win the lottery first LOL

thats a great idea Cat, i think your on to a winner..

Have you ever seen a documentary i think it was called Living with wolves or something like that and was the beginnings of the Sawtooth Pack, they reintroduced wolves to the wild, it was awesome to watch, i would love to be able to be involved in something like that.

I remember 'The Good Life' , brilliant prog.
Been to the Brecons a couple of times and liked it very much, but recently been up to the Lake District a few times and would not mind living somewhere near Keswick.

Keswick is beautiful Colin, been there a few times, but not for many many years, but i like the Brecons better, got many memories of Fforest Fawr, and chasing wild ponies on horseback...terrific

wow that sounds so good.
I think it must have been about 20 years ago that I was in the Brecons, but cannot remember where I did all the walking. I do remember walking along the side of a resevoir to the first campsite.

You must be near Kingley Vale then. Please excuse the spelling but I last went there about 15 - 20 years ago. My mountain biking days are long gone .

I think you could be right Paulus.
I don't live there, in fact I probably just live up the road from you.
Never did Mountain biking, but have often thought of getting one to do decent rides on along South Coast etc. Well, to the nearest campsite to pitch up, flash up the barbie and have a good drink.
