It depends what you call mega bucks.
You can get decent digital slr's for about £300 upwards.
Compact cameras start from about £35 that have an optical zoom if you look in the right places.
I just got a cheapo hitachi compact for at Hamm as I didnt want to take my slr but it's actually quite good, 7mp with optical/digital zoom and macro for £36 delivered.

Plenty of Retics and Burms

I am just looking on ebay, and may get another kodak as that was my last one and it was ok..nothing came out blurred..lol..

Hi WS, I've got Essential Tremor (basically a weaker form of Parkinson's Disease) & have just bought a Fuji Finepix S5800, it cost me £95 from Tesco but would probably be cheaper on Ebay, have a look at my signature pic for the clarity.

Unfortunately it does, without treatment it may get so bad that I may not be able to feed myself!!! I've just seen my neurolgist & am about to start my 1st lot of treatment *crosses fingers*. At the moment mine's not that bad, I can't drink a cup of coffee from the cup etc. But I keep positive & adapt my life around it, some days are good some bad.

I bought myself a Kodak C813 digi cam from tesco direct for under £50. It has close up & also has a setting that can help minimize the effect of camera shake and subject movement, which helps alot.Apart from having to buy recharable batteries, it was worth the money most my pics of Blaze were taken with this camera including the pic in my sig!...http://direct.tesco.com/q/R.203-0219.aspx .. hope this helps WS.

To be honest I'd rather trust the chemicals rather than homeopathic, i've done all i can hence the neurologist, but we'll have to wait & see!!!

See now i am the oposite, i prefer homeopathic, purely because it has not been tested on some poor animal that cant talk and say what is happening inside him with this stuff and not only that, animals are different biologically to us to...totally drifted there, sorry

the problem i am having is this,

Tonight i got Nia out to take some pics of her, so i put the camera to macro mode and i am thinking that with the light being poor in my bedroom this red light comes on as i hit the button and does not take the picture right away it then takes it a couple of seconds later which is why it is blurring, cos normal light i have no probs with, so i have to figure this one out...
