hi Winston nearly year old and he refused food for the first time yesterday, not too worried,he is on rats and i normaly feed him every 7 days how long should i wait untill i offer him food again?.

It will be shed or imminent poo related, Duke refuses if he is about to poop or shed. Nothing to worry about, just make sure to put the rat out in the outside bin, I accidentally put one in the kitchen bin (no idea why) and oh boy did it stink the next day.

funny you mention about dew a poo his tail looks full by the vent,and he is dew a turnout,sounds daft but he goes every 2 weeks.so thats what im putting it down to i think.

Iv noticed a trend from reading post and with my own royals that they seem to start going off there food at about a year old

i think with any new royals we get, we should bulk them up ready for fasting
