would like to thank everyone for all the advice i have recieved on the care of my rescued python , last fed him saturday hav'nt seen him since been in his hide at the hot end so had a look today just in case and his eyes are cloudy so looks like he is gonna shed soon , so must be getting better by the day thanks again for all your help

not seen a lot of him these last few days , i have raised the humidity to approw 65% he's got his hide with sphagum moss in plenty of new plants and bark too assist the shed , just wondered if i should do anything else considering the state he was in when i got him ??

Oh yeah this bit is always the worst bit, constantly looking over, jumping at every noise in the hope to catch them stripping off, lol.

well i have now managed to get my python on large weaner rats after his last owner was feeding him fluffs for god knows how long , its took a while to get him there but was just wondering if the weaners are ok ?? they are classed as 50-95 gram are these ok for a 2ft python

you would have to weigh him to be sure what size he should be on.

10% - 15% is the normal allowance, but a few percent either way isnt gonna cause any issues imo
