 temp probe/ stat temp reading		  New Topic  Reply to Topic

What do I believe the temp I set on the stat or what my digital temp probe says???? Stat says 31c but digital temp probe says 33c .
3.1.0 royal python
2.0.0 corn snake
0.1.0 western hognose
0.1.0 bci

Generally I'd go with the temp on the thermometer, especially of your using a stat with one of those stupid dials! Digital readouts ftw

Thanks I'm using on/off stats where u use a little screwdriver to adjust the temp

Definatley go off the thermometer then, I used a pulse stat with one of those little screwdriver adjustment deals and it took me an age to dial the temps in. Wretched little things

After that I swapped all my stats out for the lucky reptile digital stats. Takes 2mims to setup and I managed not to rip out what's left of my hair. Win/win

as said go by the digital thermometer the stat dials are not very accurate

Cheers taken me a good 3 hours to get there rubs to correct temps AGGGGHHHHHH driven me mad! But all sorted now.
