Need your suggestions guys as i could waste my life away looking up lizards on the net, i have decided to set aside one of my 3ft vivs for 1 or more lizards i don't want beardies as i think it would be unfair to them not getting any attention through the day as i work all day so looking for something that is active in the evening/night time and would happily live its life in a 3ft wooden viv and doesn't mind being handled, im swaying toward a group of leopard gekos at the minute but looking to see if there is anything else you guys can think of i could look at love cresties too but high humidity and a need for height may not be to good in a vivexotic vx36? So any suggestions that wouldnt need attention during the day and could live on a 3ft viv all its life would be great thanks and would high humidity be an issue a wooden viv?
Thanks Carl |

Would akies be ok in a 3ft viv? Just measured my viv and height wise dont think its too bad for a crestie at 50cm high so another option is split viv and get a couple if humidity wouldn't be a problem? |

think a 3x2x2 would ok for 1 ackie as they dont get very big. if the viv is fully sealed then humidity shouldnt be a problem im sure lotabob has his crestie in a viv |

I don't really have the room for a 6-8ft viv to house a bosc without upsetting the missus lol used to have a green iguana when i was younger and loved it but don't think I'll ever be able to get another big lizard unless i get a new girlfriend lol
also are they not very demanding lizards that need alot of time and attention? |

that little thing is awesome i want him. yea thats the only drawback is they need a fair sized viv when adult. once you have them tame their fine its just the hard work of taming them in the first place |

From what I have heard, a BOSC, whilst a very impressive lizard, they are lazy. They eat, then sleep, then eat then sleep. Just looked up the Ackie and OMG, I want one, so lively and seemingly intelligent.

yes ackies are very cool little things a friend has a pair of yellow ackies one is fine to handle but the other will nip you if it gets the chance they also have seriously sharp nails.
yep bosc's are pretty lazy my mums bosc does have spurts of activity where he trashes the viv then goes back to sleep |
