Hi Guys,
Getting new heat setup for my boa, it's a 4ftx2ft tank. I'm looking to use the ceramic bulb and was wondering is a 150watt bulb good enough or go higher? |

no idea on lights as i dont bother but a 150w would just about heat the viv but as said a 200w or 250w would not have to work as hard. i have a 150w heating the bosc's 4x2x18 and its fine but will upgrade the bulb when i get a 4x2x2 |

Get a 500w ahs :)
It doesn't matter if you get a high w if it has a thermostat like the ahs, it just means it will heat quicker spend less time on and as a result last longer! It will also use the same power regardless. |

I heat a 6X2X2 vivarium with one 150 Watt Komodo radiant heat ceramic bulb no problems at all, my 3x2x1.5 footers are on 100 Watts. |
