I have a royal female 100% She's laid eggs.
She is a 2006 and around 1200g this is obviously small for her age. Do you think she will get bigger? Any reasons why she is so small she is a pretty good feeder while been with me.

She feeds on large weaners every 7-10 days.
She was this size when I got her. No reported bad feeding when I received her. |

| If she was mine I would increase food size, depending on how large your large weaners are of course. Our 7 month old eats small adult rats weighing 100g-120g when he reaches the weight of yours he will be eating something that weighs around 160g-180g. |

I breed my own food they are around 75g I agree could probably do with larger foods.
It still doesn't account for why she is a 2006 and 1200g ish. I have only had her around a year maybe abit less.

| I guess the previous owners did not feed her appropriate size items. No snake is going to grow to their full potential if not fed correctly. |

| Reptiles never stop growing just slows down a lot when they reach maturity if you start giving her bigger meals should help her grow. Plus 1200g is a bit small for breeding so that might of took a lot out of her so I bet she will get bigger after she has had some nice big juicy rats lol |

For her age and weight there is not a thing wrong with the food she is getting. a rat of 75 grams every 7 days (for example, I'm aware it says 7-10) is 150 grams a fortnight and that's absolutely spot on for her size and age.
I would be worried though that she has laid eggs if she has been previously bred as she is nowhere near big enough to breed safely. If we are talking dropped slugs then that's a different matter though.
What is her body shape? Is she round or kind of triangular. If she is triangular then she is underweight (and that's a different ball game), if she is round but not lumpy she is fine.
I wouldn't think that she will get much bigger at all at this stage, they do most of their growing early on and just putting more food in front of her is likely to make her fatter rather than longer. Some snakes are just smaller than the average the same way there are some monster sized Royals out there. |

| I have a royal 4 years old weighs 945 gm I have feed him appropriate food items his whole live only problem is he rarely takes them. Every snake is different feeding and growth wise so would not worry to much about it, As long as your happy with all your house keeping then she is probabley fine. |
