My son had the Reptile Roadshow at school today, this guy keeps over 200 snakes and this is what he said..
keeping the temps at 80 will produce more females
keeping them at 90 will produce males
and keeping them at 85 will give a mix of both..
has anyone else ever heard this? |

It is true for Lizards that temperature makes a difference, but not snakes. |

and tortoise's,bought a book the other day called the great big book of snakes and other reptiles and it was in there. |

Same as above, I think its only accepted for lizards, not snakes. |

i think you can even get 'hot' females incubated at too higher temp that wont breed cos they are very aggressive... |

i know it happens with leos but carnt see why not with snakes, someone will have to try it. put half the eggs at 80 and half at 90 and see wot happens, |
