So today is the third day and the male has been really active all day trying to get out so i got him out for a quick handle and weigh. (i know 7 day rule but he is really confident and very nice :) ) anyway i noticed that one of his eyes is a milky blue :/ is it common for one to be in blue? or could there be a different problem? |

I have never had that before sounds strange. I would just check the shed when he does it too make sure both eye caps have come off then check snake to make sure there is no retained eye caps from previous shed |

Bit early to call it retained. Its likely just the first stages of going blue or the late stage of going blue and its partially reabsorbed. Don't forget to pump up the humidity until the skin is shed now. |

If he's going "arghhhh" every now and again, he's a pirate. |

its still the same, raised humidity also because i think he is due a shed, and other eye is fine, but this retained could be from previous shed still as ive only had him a week.. although i'm not sure it is retained , maybe a worse problem.. im giving him a nice soak now and looking again. if i think it isn't eyecap then vets it is :( |

I'd get it to a specialist reptile vet, it doesn't sound too good, I didn't realise it was always that way, I thought it had just gone that way. Specially with it being a different shape as well. |

hes in shed now, it doesnt seems to be stressing him as he is the most friendly guy! but as soon as this shed is over im booking him into my local specialist vet. don't want to stress him out too much! |
