As im new to keeping royal pythons people are going to be sick of all th questions lol right my spider is gaining some serious weight about 80 to 90grams per week on average where as my pastel is only gaining around 20 to 30grams per week fair enough he is on large wiener rats but i dont think he is big enough to move up yet and my spider is on small rats both usualy eat every friday so my question is realy is he gaining to much weight or is my pastel gaining to little weight ??

don't worry about all the question's we have all asked the same question's at some point and are happy to answer them unlike some other forum's.

are you going by the feeding 10-15% of their body weight rule?
and are you weighing the spider after it's had a poo? as where they don't poo that often some of the weight gain could be a big log it is brewing up for you

if you feed a rat that is the same thickness as the snake's widest part that work's out pretty much the same as 10-15% if you were weighing them.

if your weighing them each week you will get a heavier weight as like you say they don't poo each week so some of that weight gain will be poo.

what is the weight of the spider? once their 1200g+ you want to feed every 10-14 day's instead of every 7 day's

Snakes do have different metabolic rates, just like all living things. Some will grow bigger and faster than others. It does sound a lot in a week though....I don't envy you the clear up task if it is a brewing poo!!
