The thing stopping me getting a retic is mainly the size as im not really in secure/permenant housing, moving with the burm an afrock wont be too much of a problem but moving with a potentially 15ft+ snake an viv could be a problem. When i do get one i want one of the big locals or a golden child.
Also to complete the set of big pythons i would also need to get a scrub python, planning to get a female afrock at some point aswell |

Snakebytes did a retic special on Wednesday. They really are amazing animals. One of my favourites but not a chance of ever owning one (yet) |

i wasn't really a fan of retic's until my friend had one come into his rescue center it was 12ft when it came in an not exactly friendly, took 3 of us to hold him while removing an eye cap an 2 of us struggled to unwrap him from my mate's it's arm one seriously strong snake. fluffy is now around 14ft an very docile but can be hard work holding him as is always on the move. think it was meeting fluffy that inspired richard to get his retic.
im no longer a fan of snakebytes due to the discusting way they keep satan the big burm |
