Hi guys my local store didn't have any fluff rats and all the had was small mice so I got some of them would that be ok For my snakey ? he's just about 2 foot so I know it's a small meal but would it be ok until I get to another store on the weekend and get some proper food for him ? It's his feeding day today that's all! Or could I feed him two of them today or feed him One today then another on Saturday or Sunday this is a pic of him. . |

It's entirely up to you. It won't hurt him to do either but you may find he won't take two in one sitting. To be honest it would'nt hurt him to wait until you can get his normal size. |

To be honest if he is used to eating rats i would try and get some rats as in the long run thats what he will more than likely be feeding on, as you hopefully wont experience royals can be a little picky when it comes to eating so chopping and changing the food type is not the greatest idea. up to you it wont harm him if you have to wait a week for your local shop to get some in, failing that i can recommend several on line suppliers. |

I have used most of them, mainly due to the type of rats I need (ex large) not everybody sticks them. But live food by post , frozen reptile, frozen direct just to name a few, these are all in my experiance very good reliable suppliers. |

If ever my shop runs out of what I want the snake just has to wait or get a smaller meal. Does them no harm for either. |
