Does any one else's boa or royal. Strike the good. Grip it tight. Then let go n play around with it.

My royal fed superb today. But my boa spend an hour just moving it around n cuddling up to it as such.

Any one else have crazy snakes?

Oscar sometimes flings his rat in the air or loops himself over his branch and has a play but not for long

My royal does do something weird every now and then when I offer him food, he actually strikes and eats, once so far this year !
My boa just sits on her food for ages then eats after about an hour.

Sanke is the same. Plays with the rat for ages, biting at the legs and tail anything but the head, constricting over and over. Pain in the backside.

My female retic does this - the challenge is getting the rat out of her rub again to try again once she has dropped it!

Obviously I cannot use the hook to move her as that defeats the object of tap training.

It does however improve my reflexes ;)

ye maya does this, grabs, constricts, then looks at me for another, while still constricting the rat hard which makes it harder to get it back and re-offer
