Does any of you know anyone who builds vivariums in the Essex area to specific sizes? Or has anyone ever built their vivarium from scratch? Is it that much cheaper to make your own rather than buy?

Thanks :)

Piece of cake to make your own, there are plenty of guides in the DIY section of the forum, but to be honest if your making regular sizes then it isn`t much cheaper by the time you`ve run around buying all the bits unless your making more than one, however you can`t beat making your own custom viv especially if you`ve got a limited space to place it in.

Well I've got a viv that someone made for me a few years back but he doesn't make them anymore and I want all my vivs to be the same size and then put them into a unit so I neee to make / buy three more because at the moment all my vivs are different sizes

I'm undecided on whether to make 3 more seperate vivs and stack them, or start from scratch and make a 4 vivarium unit all joined together.. if you get what I mean?

One big unit would look cool, however if you have smaller ones then you have units that are easy to move without breaking them up.
