| Does anyone else find that hognoses tend to poo ALOT more than other snakes? And really stinks more than others too. Just wondering if that's normal? And why it might be. Im finding myself changing his substrate nearly every week cuz I'm getting moaned at by the Mrs he's stinking the house out lol |

the one i had used to poo a couple of time's a week if i remember right but i do remember it really stinking
problem i used to get was he would crap in his tunnel's so had to hunt for the turd |

They got a fast metabolism, much quicker than a boa or royal.

it's a very foul smelling liquid they store near the vent(or somewhere in that area) that they realese when they feel threatened

I use lignocel which helps to neutralize the urate/poop smell a lot better than any other substrate I tried 
and yeah they do poop a hell of alot lol |
