Hi, I used some spaghum moss in the "Wifes" lunchbox last week to help my Girl shed as she was in blue. The lunchbox had a hole cut in to all her to go in and out as she wanted.
After 2 to 3 days I opened up the box to find the moss had started to get a white hairy mould on it.
Obviously I removed and discarded it straight away, the reason i am asking is my Male pastel has gone in to blue and I wanted to help him out.

Has anyone else had this problem ???
Thanks in advance

I hate using Spaggy moss I find that it completely dries up very quickly, makes a mess and is just a lot of faffing about when there are easier ways of dealing with upcoming sheds.

Personally I wait until my snakes eyes go blue, then I wait some more, when the blue disappears I take a spray bottle and I spray the RUB until the newspaper is damp, this will dry up fairly quickly but the humidity will stay raised for a while - I only spray once a day but it doesn't take long for the snake to shed, never have any problems when I do it this way.

Yeah i found it annoying to,More so in high heat setups.Where it dries up super fast, and you have to keep it wet non stop. It's fine for other uses.
