Hi all. I've had my pinstripe for two weeks now and thought I'd give a quick(ish) update. I've decided to name him Pretzel. I left him for a week to settle in, then offered him a XL mouse (his meal of choice, apparently) - which he refused, making only defensive strikes at it from inside his hide. The following day I went to take him out to play and found he was in blue! I went away for a few days and came back to a shed (complete but not in one piece), a big poo and a beautiful Pretzel! I shall offer him food tomorrow morning and I'm fairly confident he'll be hungry (he's not eaten since 5th March, for one reason or another, so he damn well should be!) If that goes well, his next meal will be a rat, if he can be persuaded.
By the way, I'm glad to see so many newbies on the forum - it's been a great source of information and encouragement (and even entertainment!) to me, in my journey into the hobby/obsession. Welcome aboard! |
