Hey
So my royal has just shed recently and she's decided its a good idea to, what seems like, double in size!
anyway she now struggles to fit into her hide. so i got her the X-Large exo terra hide. but unfortunately it takes up nigh-on 50% of her 3ft viv
looking to upscale her viv but her current one has a glass panel with a heat mat underneath. has anyone had any experience with changing from mats to bulbs. any bad reactions from the snake ? |

bulbs give a better heat gradient so you get the 32c basking area and it also raises the ambient temps in the viv. personally i would go for a ceramic heat bulb with a pulse thermostat
you will need a ceramic bulb fitting and a bulb guard so the royal cant get near the bulb an burn itself

Like above,is the whole viv glass?should be able to fit two of them hides into a 3ft viv.Unless the viv is the narrow one.
plenty of wooden vivs around, may as well switch your heating methods to :) |
