i was holding him and he just dribbled.... is this normal or could it be the start of an ri?

Not sure- seen your reply to the thread on the other dribbly royal post. It's not something I've encountered. Hopefully someone else will be able to advise.

My male did this, took him to the vet and he was given the all clear.
If your worried put your Royals mouth up to your ear and listen for weezing sounds, if you here any or you see bubbles or mucus then take it straight to the vet.

Royals owned "lots"

could be excess saliva.......... could be the start of an RI?

i'd monitor him, like hodgie said check for wheezing or clicking noises, and make sure your temps are high enough

mt temps are at 32, sometimes he makes a whistling noise but i know pythons and boas retain there lungs and release a quick breath of air which creates the whistling noise, hes never done it before, niether has my other one, so im a bit shocked lol, i checked inside his mouth and theres no exess saliva or mucus and no bubbles, will keep an eye on him tho. ive just got a dribbler lol
