I think i am dealing with another RI...

I noticed what i thought yesterday was a cough from Bliss..

Left her alone as i did not want to stress her, but today i got her out..to check her over

Now i am not sure, cos i know royals can puff up when they are stressed out...

but when i held her she let out a load of air and it sounded like when you let air out of a bag with a slight whining sound ...so i am thinking the worst right now..

she was ok after she relaxed a bit

does anyone know the dosage of Baytril for an 1050g royal?

i have some...but maybe not enough, i dont want to stress her out even more with a trip to the vets if i can avoid it, she absolutely hated traveling..and i dont want to make her worse

Dave how were you using F10 it to kill an RI? Did you do it without Baytril?

I would rather go this route if i can...

Thanks-)

Me to, she seems to be fixed on just looking out, staring is another sign of an RI isnt it?

Unless she is just to scared to move...

where is the snakey pschologist aka Ali...

I found out today she originated from Dunstable,

tis a good job i never got her when i first went after her, cos i would have lynched the owner..lol..

sounds like a potential RI hun. sorry

up the temps a ew degrees, bringing the cold end temps up to 28-30*C ish if you can and see if she can fight it off herself first, then Baytril at the dosage i txt you with earlier

let me know if you need anything hun, and i'm sure Dave will have good advice on the F10 useage

Thanks Ali your a star..

Could it possibly be that this whole being moved around twice in ten days and having been shut in a shed all her life have traumatised her?

I know it might sound silly..

but is just a thought, temps are already up;-)

was told she shed two weeks ago, and found loads of it in her viv, so she never shed complete, bless her..

i want to clean her out and put her on kitchen roll, but i dont want to stress her out even more..

The stress of moving could have brought it on?
