she is still yawning though, so am keeping a close eye....

she seems fixated on staring, which is a concern, though not with her head up i hasten to say..

fingers crossed for you anne. Hope she will be ok. maybe its just all the chance that has her acting strange. i guess if any of us were locked up in a shed for most of our lives we would just sit and stare as well?

Thanks Spor

so far she seems ok, but i have only had her just over a week and ri's can take time to fully come out, but i have left her totally alone now in between feeds, and am hoping if she did have the beginnings of one that her own immune system has kicked in and is doing what it should..

This is for Ali i guess..

had to get Bliss out today as she had been toilet and was lying in it, so took the chance to check her over again..

she still has some kind of faint whistling sound, this is not all the time, and not till just before i put her away, i only had her out for around five minutes.

There are NO other signs of RI...no mucus no runny nose no gaping nothing...

She shed recently so is not going into shed,

This is my question, either there is a bit of shed stuck and i cant see it or...

could this be something down to her being underweight or something?

i'd keep your temps up, no handling, provide branches to allow her to perch with her head lowered to enable any mucous to drain, prolly do the F10 neb in the viv too for a few days to see if it works rather than jumping staight in with the Baytril and stressing her out when administering it
keep us posted hun... haven't spoken to you for aaaaaages! blinking MSN!

Dont know if this will help or not, but my friends snake squeaks when she returns her to her viv. She thought there was something wrong with her at first, but after having her for a good 7 months now has realised that its just something that she does everytime she puts her back.

She feeds and sheds well and shows no signs of distress or anything, just squeaks when being returned to her viv or if she is pulled back from escaping over the back of the sofa!!

Dont know if this helps, but thought you might like to know!!!

took me some time to figure her out, but today i realised Bliss does not have an RI...

Went on you tube to listen to hissy royals and found one making exactly the same noise as she does..lol...

she is hissy..lol...and very loud when hissy...

hopefully in time she will get over this and calm down...she is much better now when i am in her viv, still have to watch her, but she is not striking at me now...

but it is kinda funny when she hisses at me...bless her....
