hi, ive got what i presume is a male royal python. Ive had him now for just under 2 months, and he has fed every week and also had a full shed in that time.
Hes around 41 inches in length, but id say his girth is only about 6 cm if not 5. Is this an ok girth or do I need to start feeding him more? ( he was smaller than this when i got him, but since ive had him, hes grown to this size.)
Im currently feeding on what the pet shop near me call 'medium rats'. They are about 5 and a half inches from head to toes. ( not inc. tail)

As above, the weight and a pic would be helpful. Its very hard to picture the snake. |

rat size "sounds" about the same as the ones I feed Sabine, who is around the same size and approx 1.6kg. If it's eating well then don't worry, I've never thought to measure the width of a snake....... |
