i was changing the water in 1 of my royals rubs last night (the one that didnt want to feed and i had to semi gut the fuzz) and she hissed at me so i just said oh sush as she was far enough away from me, i took her dish out and all was fine till after i cleaned it and put it back in she didnt even hiss at me she just struck and bit me and drew blood,it did sting a bit and have got a mark from all her pin teeth lol
will she settle with handling or is she gonna stay a grumpy cow???? am not bothered about getting bit at the size she is now its just if shes gonna keep it up and does it all the time for no reason when shes bigger then she wont be easy to handle at all and might have to be rehomed (which i really dont want to do, but with the kids around)

She'll settle down in time. Fingers crossed she'll strike at her food next time now too!

Yeah, don't worry. Alot of young snakes have a tendency to be a bit bitey, but over time, she'll know that you're not a threat =).
