what risk is there of snakes getting mites or picking up other things from being couriered with other snakes?
As i am now slowly getting money together to bring Sabine down here, i also have to courier her..and i was thinking about all this today... |

| I doubt there is much risk as the snakes are stored seperatly. Also, in this weather you shouldnt have to worry too much about the temp. |

| I have never couriered anything but i guess its the chance you take i would say...there is no guarantees that a snake will be healthy hen transported. Is the couriors asking for a vets certificate giving sabine the all clear before they will transport her??? |

Well im sure they wont be asking anyone else then...but its only the same as buying from a shop or breeder. You would never ask them for a health check cert on ALL their reps before you buy. You just have to put your faith in the seller not selling any thing known to be ill and in the case of mites the courior may well inspect the animal before taking it on.

well thats what should have happened with both corns,
admittedly one was sent without a heat pack and arrived half dead and the other regurged..
i am still in two minds as to do the drive myself... |
