I've had snakes fo years and never bathed one. I think most people only do it when they've had a problem shed. Even then I found a damp towel/pillowcase worked fine. I provide mine with a bowl big enough so he can have a bath if he chooses. Precautions i assume will be supervision and correct temperature of water but as i've never done it I can't really say.
as above there is no real need to bath a snake. if you wish to the water should be no deeper than the snake and to be 28-30c. block any overflows and make sure there is no chemical residue on the bath

the best way to help her she is to keep a damp hide in her viv and when she is in shed move it to the middle of the viv to create a little more moisture, but dont put it in the warm end or it will be to humid...
