LOL, i regularly take advice from male royals...
I've been reading quite a few different websites and as you can imagine you get varying advice. A lot of sites say minimum 400-500g but ideal size of 800g(ish). |

this is my personal preference here and not based on any knowledge at all, but i would rather not breed a male unless it was as near to the female weight as possible, partly cos i would worry that the female would hurt the male if he was much smaller, partly cos i dont want my "baby" breeding rofl. if that's a bad idea, best let me know LOL |

Ive heard you dont want a big, older male for breeding as they can be lazy, where as the smaller, younger ones are more...er...randy. |
