well all going good so far. had Gaia out the early night have a few pics to put up. Stick her on scales and she weighed in at 117g and she is about 20" long . now she hadn't pooed for a few weeks at that weight. Pooed today so had a quick weigh and she came in at 114g.

Went to check Freyja was hoping to weigh her but going into shed so will leave her for another week or so.

well all still good. freyja had complete shed yesterday. though she did stay in her moss hide for most of the process( but thats what it there for i guess). tried to get her out for a weigh but she just wanted to play so couldn't get an accurate reading. some where between 85-105g.
fed her last nigth as well, she did catch on first strike but as soon as i left prey again she snatched and coiled around it so hard there was a lovely sound of crushing bones. she held for a bit and then started to swallow. at this point she thought somethings not right( she had struck and held the tail end) it ws funny just watching her figure out how she was going to sort this out and get round to the business end with out letting go.

My food order came in to the pet shop today and needless to say I'll not be ordering of them again. No pinkies, out of stock. whats that about.(pinkies or for corns don't panic not feeding royals pinkies) I have got them some good size adut mice and some small rat weaners. which i'll probably try Gaia on in a few days time as she is a bit bigger.

have not be tagged yet and there have been no attempts feel like i am missing out on something lol. But just want more snake know. loving having them and loving watch them. it also gives me great street cred with my daughters friends. I'm am a cool daddy.LOL

Well Freyja who was the non feeder has turned into a bit of bin. offer her a small weaner rat last night for the first time and away see went. first strike wasn't great but went for it a second time and took her time working out how she was going to get it down.

Not sure about boa's they definitely don't have the same cute factor for me LOL.

Well had the girls out together the last night for the first time. that was fun. LOL. they have really settled in now and quite happy with being handled . Gaia no longer balls up which is great. Put them on scales before going back in. Freyja now at 132g post poo. Gaia 151gpre poo.

also weighed the other weaners I have and mice. amazed. 5 mice pretty much all look the same lightest was 14g heaviest 30g. heaviest weaner
was 31g. so really most of what i have food wise is more that 15% of the snakes body weight. But size wise they are fine. which way do you go there. my thinking is in the wild the snake would just eat what fits, as they can't really stick their prey on scales.? what do you think.
