hi. I have had before with my bearded dragon, a dial thermometer and a dial humidity reader, and they worked fine. I am getting a royal python soon and was wondering whether I should again get a dial thermometer/humidity reader.
I am only asking because I have read that some people have had some problems with their dials, like its reading higher temps than it should etc.
I want the best for my royal and so want to make sure with whats the best first

Digital are so cheap from ebay and so much better.

Something like this:

i use a dial hygrometer just as a guide as they only require normal room humidity and the dial ones are pretty rubbish anyway imo lol

if you've got a dial one already it's ok, it's just unlikely to be hugely accurate so just don't rely on it, and if it reads something way out just ignore it lol
