Hi for a 3ft VIV, what ceramic bulb Wattage should I get, I am looking fo purchase a pulse thermostat also, as I am currently using a on/off matstat

You will definitely need the PP stat, 150 - 200W bulb.

Would it be ok to use a dimming thermostat instead of a pp in this situation?

Yes, personally I prefer dimmers, but they are slightly more expensive.

I have a 3ft viv with a 150watt ceramic and I have no problem heating the viv. I use a pulse stat
