Do royal feed for the fun of it or do they only feed when they are hungry? I was trying to feed my new female and Memphis was right out of his hide straight away looking for food.

They are opertunistic hunters, in the wild they will eat when they can.

although generally they're not dustbins like corns are, and they're prone to fasting for months at a time.........
