How are you measuring it, 41% is less than normal room humidity?

Is it a digital or a dial hygrometer? Dial type tend not to be very accurate. To show you just how bad they are I have a digital and a dial type in my animal room, the digital is currently reading 47% and the dial is showing 65%. If it is a digital hygrometer your using then you could move the water dish closer to the warmer end if its not already there.

Ok your water dish is in the cool end. What type of hygrometer are you using? if its a dial type I would throw it away and get a digital type before doing anything at all.

Are you sure its a hygrometer and not a min max digital thermometer, only 88 degF is pretty much 32degC
