when i clean Boo out on monday i have got her a RUB but not set up like a viv as its only for a little while. I put some kitchen roll in the bottom and some vent holes in the sides and lid. I put a spare hide that wasnt part of the viv incase he wants to go in quiet place.

Hi guys
Well i tried feeding Sid again but nothing. His topngue was going mad and he seemed to follow the fluff but then just returned to his hide. HELP!!! I'm so frustrated! Really thought he was going to feed today but it's been weeks!

Has he lost any weight?

If not, just try again in 5 days.

The shop didn't give a weight he was when we got him. I haven't weighed him as I didn't want to handle him. I shall do this when ~I clean him out tonight.
Should I weigh him more than once aweek at the moment jst to keep eye on it?
I know this is going to sound like a really silly question but could it be the way I'm trying to feed him? The viv is so small I'm dangling the fluff into the viv. Is this right or should I just leave the fluff in there? I realy want to get this right!

Weigh him now (let us know his weight) and then weigh him again if he refuses in 5 days. The best way is with digital kitchen scales.

Maybe he doesn't expect his rats to come at him from above. You could try sort of walking them towards him along the floor with some long tweezers. Make sure its nice and warm too.

When you say walking along the ground do you mean out of his viv?

Only reason I ask is cause there's no floor space to walk the fluff along?

A good weight then, don't worry about the not feeding yet. Try offering again in 5 days and if no success, re-weigh.

as said above he is a good weight so you can relax a bit. leave it 5days and try again as BE said at a low level. if he doesn't take it leave it in is rub over night. and see if he takes it. Only as you mentioned it but how are you trying to find him? as in how long are you trying. etc

Tried for about 30 minutes max. I was worried that it might put him off it even more if I tried to long. SI'll try leavging it in RUB if he doesn't strike feed next time. Should I leave it in any particular end or space?
