hi peeps i was just wandering whats best a ceramic or one of them infa red heater light bulb things.


also if you only have a shallowviv whats the minimum distance from the bottom of the gaurd to the bottom of the viv

it really depends if you want red light as well to see them in the dark.......personally i don't as my vivs are all in my bedroom so i use ceramics, rep rad and mats for my various snakes......

i know that there gonna want to sit under the heat source but im not sure how far above them it should be

cause i dont wanna get them to hot, or will it be ok with a stat

As long as the heat source is guarded and stated it shouldnt matter too much.

ok i did think as long as its stated it sould be ok cause obviously it wont get above the set temp.

and i will be gaurding it without question.
