Hi all hope you & yours are all well? I have sourced some small rat weaners that range from 30-40g, I have previously been feeding rat fluffs every 5 days, I am I best to still feed every 5 days, or move it to every week? Slash weighed 297g last week although he wasn't empty. Thanks for any help recieved. Glyn |

initially when you're moving from pups to weaners for the first time i'd go for 7 days, then another feed, then 6 days, then another feed and back onto a 5 day schedule. this just lets them get accustomed to a larger sized 'meal'
not that BE is wrong though, it's just a (rare) difference of opinion |

That makes sense, I do usually leave them a little longer too if I up their food size first time, good point. |
