i am taking the advice of bengy_s now to see if this works. have ordered 20 rat fuzzies from 888reptiles (not sure how much they weigh but being a specialist reptile supplier, i trust they know what they are doing in comparison to my pet shop!!) then hopefully after these she should be able to have another bash at one of the small rat weaners.
thanks you |

Sounds like a good plan. I'm sure once he works his way through that batch he'll be able to manage the small wieners. Yes would say you are right in thinking 888 should know what they're sizing, certainly should be better than a store. Having said that most stores should be ok for sizing pups, fuzzies and upto small wieners as that part of the life cycle is visually evident the rats are different i.e. pups no fur, fuzzies with fur and small wieners are exactly that wiened of rats, so broadly speaking, shops differ on their "version" of what a large wiener, small rat...... large rat is, therfore the larger discrepancies. The smaller the rat usually means the smaller the margin of error.
Hope makes sense! Good luck |
