help, ive got one royal and want
another one, but for some reason
the wife wont let me lol.
have any of you had this problem
and if so how did you get round it
or didnt you lol.

well i was in that situation.
i had 2 royals and wanted another but she wouldnt let me, so heres what i done.
acted like a little kid for about 2 weeks, keeping on about how i wanted one and its not fair i never get my own way lol.
tbh at first she didnt want any more but once she realised that they are not as scary as she once thought she agreed i can have more.
i think she has now got the bug
failing that i usually find a pair of shoes and a takeaway swings things in my favour.

Royals = Shoes.
She deprives you of one, you deprive her of the other. Or just tell her that whatever you spend on snakes, she can spend on clothes, etc etc, women are very materialistic  |

Guys are easy to bribe, you just let us play computer games for a bit and we're fine, for women though, shoes...eep. It's like, they have to be a certain kind of shoe, or a certain colour, or...?
I dunno, maybe my complete lack of fashion sense is kicking in here >.>.

Personally, i thought asking nicely would work, when it didn't i took her to the reptile shop just before my birthday and gave her puppy dog eyes while saying how lovely the royals were.
She melted instantly.
If that had failed to work though i would have gone to the shop and bought one alone, can hardly force you to take it back.  |

| My bf came up with some sound financial reasons why I shouldn't spend £'s on a nice sounding young pair of royals this w/e(0.1 albino + 1.0 albino het), I couldn't cope with that-I could've dealt with a tantrum but reasoning was just too much. Sad. |

I think she must really want you to have one!
I say this because if Lewy asked me for something and I said 'no' then that would guarentee that he'd go straight out and buy it.
But if I really didn't want him to have something I'd say 'it's up to you' or something non-commital like that and then it confuses his man-brain, meaning he'd not buy it.
