She's very beautiful. I think that if I had more space and human company in the house I'd be tempted to have a big snake; as it is I like royals as they are a miniature big snake... Surahi at 4' is a 'big' snake to me lol. Yes, you definitely have to think of their size and strength and supervision while handling ...pity. In the meantime I can admire your photos.

Hi Bats. I know what you mean about royals being a mini big snake! Feather is likely to be a big girl when she's grown up, but if you like boas Hogg Island or Crawl Cays stay fairly small.

I doubt I'll be getting anything larger, but time spent on RFUK really attracted me to a boa and she's an angel.

guess what i got today i swapped the coastal no fault of there own just werent my thing and i have taken the plugen i said last year i would it was just a matter of time , i have a coasta rican boa cb late 09 male i named him blaze ,a nd a female pastel boa she looks a little salmon too but shr may well out grow that, i'm so happy . thank you so much for your post they really inspired me .

will be building a new viv double 5ft area space 14sq ft , so they can have one each at the moment they are in a 5ft one each which i think migh be too big but if any prob can cut some off. just thought i would add that .

Congrats on your new arrivals Mischang, don't forget to post pics of them!

Boas don't mind being in the open, if you have room I'd put some climbing branches in for them, they like to climb. I hope you find them as rewarding as I have, boas rock!

well as they are only little they are in a 5ft each and i will leave them there till the other is built maybe 4/5 weeks etc so they can have the full 10ft to start as they mean to go on . they have some vines and branches that i used for the royals . will but photos on of all collection on weekend as i will just have to check them over hehehehe so excited cant wait.
