Just tried to give Ozzie a rat (unsuccefully may i add he has skipped 3 feeds now ) and my tongs are awful, and the rat burst with me gripping my friend (who i got Ozzie from) was over to help because of his non feeding, and i had to turn away, gross gross gross
It was gross, after it happened i made my friend Neil feed him. But despite the blood and guts, Ozzie still refused it . Luckily none of them fell into the viv, the insides were just kinda "hanging"
i hold the food item by the tail when feeding and i shake like a leaf when im feeding my snakes so it "wiggles" a bit :)although i have been left with a bit tail sometimes lol:)
was trying to temp Q the other week when the skin on the tail of the rat slid off leaving poor Q with a rat on his back and me holding the skin.. eeeeeew
