Some of you know the history of my royal. He was being fed on one large mouse every 4 days to a week. Well when I got him he has had 2 feeds of 2 large mice.
I got 2 rat weiners and one small rat for him, Well the other day was feeding day and I Have been feeding him in the viv for now to reduce stress as he has been through alot recently.

Well I offered the rat weiner and he ran away from it! and even went up in his plants looking at it thinking"what the heck is that"??!!

I could see it was upsetting him a little but rather than take it away, I wanted him to see it as a non threat, so I stuck it on a tupperware lid and left it in the viv near his warm hide. Covered the viv and left him for the night.

Next morning --No rat! He realised it was food and ate it! So im hoping he will take the next one with no problems now he knows its food!! Im so happy it went alot e\sier than I thonght! I ad visions of me scenting, braining ect!!
