Brought some scales today and weighed charlie for the first time he is approx now 2yrs 6 months and weighs 866 grams hes been feeding on jumbo mice but has now taken a rat fuzz so hopefully he will take a rat weaner but that will have to wait as hes eyes have gone blue today so will be shedding at some point.

You're looking for a prey item 10-15% so around the 100g mark, watch him put weight on then

There isn't an ideal weight really as long as they're not fat.

Small rats start at around 90g so he could be taking those ok. were as weaner start at around 20-25g. you can see the difference there. good luck hope he goes for the bigger rats ok.
