Aww, new babies! And very nice too! I do like pastels, and Miss Anonyma the spider's very pretty too - well, let's face it they're all gorgeous. Royals rule KO! |

Kind of goes with bullet or if it's high speed trains he's named after how about Shinkansen, or ICE?? |

You may have snakes but no name ... now I've got a definite name but no snake!

you now, if you dont have a het pied female when it comes to breeding him you could always pair him up with my female that way we could both get babies and i would still pair her up with bullet as well lol

Thanks, Danny - that's a really kind offer, but I can't drive and have no transport. And this sounds awful, but I'm not planning to breed - the poor guy will have to live like a monk! It's just that I've been broody for months and I'm certain that, one of these days, I'll get another royal. Especially now I know its name. I've had good ideas for names before, but this is the one. Doesn't matter about age, sex, kind; it will be a pet ... (This may of course be a case of famous last words and possibly Shahi will end up on his honeymoon yet!)
But thanks again for your offer, I do appreciate it and so does Shahi.

was more aimed at unclenos but the offer is always there, bow and bullet can sell themselves lol
i never went into this to breed but after i got bullet, i wanted a female anyway and it made more sence to get a female eht pied, i might never breed them, but the oportunities always there |

| It would have to be a long distance relationship lol is the female 100% het ?? Hopefuly getting a 100% next year that's going to be 6-12 months away from breeding age anyway. |

good luck getting a het pied female that is 12 months away from breeding, its hard eneough to find a baby |

My local breeder is trying for pied next breeding year so if one of them does give it up I'm getting one of the daughters of the pied by which time she'll be nearly a year old.
Still no name for the female yet?? |

Hah! That's what I said last year! Then my kids begged for a bumblebee and the darned things were $600. I refused to spend that much money... so they decided to make their own using our spider and pastel pair.
And here we are a year later... hooked on breeding...

Hi, Anatess, been out of things for a few days (sad family situation) but reading forum tonight and ... have to say ... whether it was some subconscious need to take my mind off things, but for a while now I've been thinking of another royal, and about a week back found the definite name ... and am off to see her tomorrow. She's a normal - do like normals and I told the seller I'm not planning to breed but could be tempted. And so I daresay could Shahi.
She's 18 months, and her owner is moving into student accommodation where she's not allowed. She will be a pet first and foremost - will have to think long and hard about breeding, but your post made me laugh! Famous last words indeed!
Hopefully tomorrow evening I will be putting up a post about our new addition ... NO, Shahi, you are NOT going to be a toyboy!

PS don't mean I'm buying new snake on impulse- since Shahi came it's been a foregone conclusion that there would have to be another royal, whether male or female, sometime - it's just that it's happened now...

On the name... I've always wanted to name our spider Peter Parker. My kids out-voted me and named him Salazar (yes, yes, from the famous Slytherin).
